Tequila & Mezcal was established in 2019 by Puebla born Chef Dio and his wife Mirna Montero. The original owners of Taqueria Habanero, DC wanted to offer the Columbia Heights neighborhood delicious options that exposed various states of Mexico. From Molotes (Oaxaca) to Cheese Fondue Shrimp Tacos (Yucatan) you will find a taste of Mexico when visiting this local eatery.
Bar Cocktail Program
Our cocktail program is managed by Mixologists Israel Mendez and Josue Rauda. Both gentleman, joined our team five years ago and have continued to deliver delicious, creative cocktails from fresh home made syrups to quality recipes.
